Every Royal Enfield lover knows that Royal Enfield is working on a parallel twin motorcycle. We have seen a dozen of spy shots of Royal Enfield Continental GT based prototype which is powered by a twin-cylinder engine that’s undergoing testing in Europe and India.
Well, the engine is believed to be so far the most powerful ever produced by Royal Enfield. It is rumoured that the new engine will have a displacement of 750cc and will be manufactured by Chennai-based Royal Enfield.
In a recent interview with Motorcycle Magazine, Siddharth Lal, MD and CEO of Royal Enfield, hinted that the new engine will not be restricted only to Continental GT. Lal suggested that the Royal Enfield Himalayan can be the second motorcycle in the iconic Indian two-wheeler manufacturers portfolio to receive the new parallel-twin motor.
Think of a Himalayan having a 750 cc motor!! I can imagine only how efficient it will be for offroading and long rides. Better than ever before. The Royal Enfield fans will definitely love this. What do you think about this?
