2017 DUKE 200
This is the bike which the youngster wants to have when they think about having a sports performance bike having a budget of 1.5 lakhs. Indeed its one of the most powerful in its segment in Indian market. The facelift of Duke 200 gets minor changes as compared to Duke 390. It gets the same 199.5cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel-injected engine, producing 25 hp of power and 19 Nm of torque, but this time the engine is BS IV compliant. The bike gets new paint job and graphics with orange wheels. It misses out the ABS as the company says that the bike doesn’t need it and it helps to keep them the bike at a lower price. It has the same single frame and there are not much styling changes as its elder one has this time. The Duke 200 will be available in three colors – white, black and orange.
ALL NEW 2017 DUKE 250
This was the missing puzzle in the series of KTM DUKE. The KTM Duke 250 perfectly fits between the 200 and 390. Its narrows down the gap between the two and offers a good choice for the bikers. The 250 Duke is somehow a copy of 200 Duke which has a bigger heart (engine) than 200. It misses out tons of features like the TFT display, ride by wire system, all LED headlamps. Something it inherits from Duke 390, is the suspension systems which are same in both. The KTM does not offer ABS for this one, even as an option. KTM should have thought about providing ABS as optional as this would have attracted many customers. The Duke 250 is priced at 1.73 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The Duke 250 gets powered by a 250cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. The motor is fuel injected producing 30hp and 24Nm. The front disc is 300mm while the rear disc is 230mm. The 250 misses out the black color option and comes with black wheels.
